1. About These Terms
These Terms and Conditions govern your use of Pythonia's website at pythonia.site and your enrolment in any course offered by Pythonia. Pythonia is an online education provider registered in Bangkok, Thailand, with its principal place of business at 96 Wireless Road, Lumphini, Pathum Wan, Bangkok 10330.
References to "we", "us", and "our" mean Pythonia. References to "you" and "your" mean the individual enrolling in a course or using our website.
If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our website or enrol in our courses.
2. Our Services
Pythonia offers the following online courses, delivered through recorded lessons, practical notebook exercises, and written or live mentor interaction:
- Python for Data — a six-week self-paced course covering tabular data handling, structured files, plotting, and notebook reporting (฿6,800 THB).
- Applied Machine Learning Pathway — a twelve-week pathway covering regression, classification, model evaluation, feature engineering, and two portfolio projects (฿18,800 THB).
- Deep Learning Bootcamp — a sixteen-week intensive covering neural network fundamentals, common architectures, model deployment, and a capstone project reviewed by a panel of three educators (฿32,800 THB).
Courses are conducted entirely online. Learners require their own computer, internet connection, and a working Python environment. We do not provide hardware or internet access.
3. Enrolment & Eligibility
To enrol in a Pythonia course, you must:
- Be at least 18 years of age.
- Have the technical prerequisites described for your chosen course (basic programming background for Python for Data; Python and data handling experience for the Applied ML Pathway; prior programming experience for the Deep Learning Bootcamp).
- Provide accurate contact and enrolment information.
Enrolment is confirmed when we send you a written confirmation by email and payment has been received in full. We reserve the right to decline an enrolment application at our discretion, in which case any payment received will be returned in full.
Course places are personal and non-transferable. You may not share course access or login credentials with any other person.
4. Fees & Payment
Course fees are as listed on our website at the time of enrolment. All fees are stated in Thai Baht (THB) and are inclusive of any applicable VAT unless noted otherwise.
Payment is due in full at the time of enrolment unless we have agreed a different arrangement with you in writing. We accept payment through the methods listed at the point of enrolment. We do not store payment card details on our own systems.
If a payment is declined or reversed, your enrolment may be suspended until full payment is received. We will contact you before taking any such action.
5. Cancellation & Refunds
We understand that circumstances can change. Our refund policy is as follows:
- Before course access is granted: a full refund will be issued if you cancel within 7 days of paying your enrolment fee, provided course materials have not yet been accessed.
- Within the first week of course access: a 50% refund will be issued if you cancel within 7 days of your course start date and have completed no more than the first week of materials.
- After the first week: no refund is available once you have progressed beyond the first week of materials, as course content and mentor time will have been allocated.
To request a cancellation, contact us at [email protected]. Refunds will be processed within 14 days of approval through the original payment method.
If we cancel a course before it begins, you will receive a full refund. If we need to modify a course significantly after it has begun, we will discuss options with enrolled learners individually.
6. Course Access & Materials
Upon confirmed enrolment and receipt of payment, you will receive access to course materials for the duration of your course plus a reasonable period for review as communicated at enrolment. Access is provided for personal study only.
We make reasonable efforts to keep course content accurate and current. Course schedules, content, and delivery methods may be adjusted where necessary to maintain quality. We will communicate any material changes to enrolled learners by email.
Mentor office hours and written feedback sessions are available at the times communicated during your course. We aim to provide written feedback on notebook submissions within five working days of receipt. Feedback is offered in good faith as educational guidance and does not constitute professional advice of any kind.
Course materials are provided through our online platform. Continued access beyond the stated access period is not part of the course fee.
7. Learner Conduct
We ask all learners to engage with our courses and any live or asynchronous interactions in a respectful and honest manner. In particular, you agree not to:
- Share, reproduce, or distribute course materials, recordings, or notebooks outside of your own personal study.
- Submit work as your own that was produced substantially by another person or automated tool without disclosure.
- Attempt to access systems, accounts, or materials beyond those provided to you as part of your enrolment.
- Engage in conduct that is disruptive, abusive, or harmful toward Pythonia staff or other learners.
We reserve the right to withdraw course access without refund if a learner engages in conduct that materially breaches these terms, following a reasonable notification and opportunity to respond.
8. Intellectual Property
All course materials, lesson recordings, notebook templates, exercises, and written content provided by Pythonia are our intellectual property or used with permission. You are permitted to use these materials for your own personal study and learning only.
You may not copy, reproduce, publish, redistribute, sell, or create derivative works based on our materials without our written permission.
Work you produce yourself during the course — including your own notebook code, analysis, and written responses — remains yours. By submitting work to us for feedback, you grant us permission to read and comment on it for educational purposes. We will not publish or share your submitted work without your consent.
9. Feedback & Submissions
Written feedback and mentor comments are provided as educational guidance. They reflect the educator's reading of your work in the context of the course and do not constitute professional, technical, or career advice.
Feedback turnaround times are estimates. Where delays occur, we will communicate with you. Feedback is provided by educators with relevant experience, but no specific outcome — such as employment, project success, or a particular level of skill — is implied or stated.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by applicable Thai law, Pythonia's total liability to you in connection with a course shall not exceed the course fee you paid for that course.
We are not liable for any indirect loss, consequential loss, loss of earnings, or loss of opportunity arising from your use of or inability to use our courses or materials.
We do not warrant that our website or online platform will be available without interruption or error. We will make reasonable efforts to resolve any access issues promptly.
Nothing in these terms limits our liability for fraud, personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be excluded under Thai law.
11. Privacy & Data
We collect and process personal data in connection with enrolment and course delivery. Full details of how we handle your data are set out in our Privacy Policy. By enrolling, you confirm that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The "Last Updated" date at the top of this page will reflect the most recent revision. For enrolled learners, any material changes will be communicated by email. Continued enrolment or use of our website after a change to these terms constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
Where a change to these terms would materially affect your rights in relation to a course you have already paid for, we will discuss the change with you directly before it takes effect.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Thailand. Any disputes arising from or in connection with these terms shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the Thai courts.
If any provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue to apply in full.
